TweetWell it was the Home Opener. i don’t really have to say the baseball home opener, do i? It had been 158 days since the last game was played there i heard someone say. That’s how it is here. The Home Opener is like a festive holiday, and we can’t wait. People skip work, or maybe the whole office takes the day off. It’s time for baseball, and we take it quite seriously. i stayed at home to watch the game, which started at 1:00. The “pre-game” started at 9:00. There is all kinds of tailgating as if was football. Although on many home openers the weather more suited football. This year, though, the weather was pretty good. Sunny and at least in the 50’s.
