Michigan State 27 Michigan 23

Yesterday was a big rivalry game for my alma mater, MSU. Well, i think it is although the folks at Michigan would not even acknowledge it as such..At least they wouldn’t until we beat them 6 out of the last 7 years,  Now forced to acknowledge us, but armed with a new coach, this year was a sure thing. A lock if you will. At least that’s the way the Michigan base was touting it. Getting their swagger back, even before they had done anything, Some Michigan fans even decided it would be a good idea to vandalize Magic’s statute on the MSU campus.

Undeterred, however, and thinking that this was anybody’s game, Michigan State/Michi decided to buck the oddsmakers and support my team.

So here i am in my cheerleader’s outfit posing with a football before the game. It was close all the way through, actually.  Both teams played pretty good, But as the game was winding down my guys found themselves down by two with the clock winding down. It looked like it was all over for MSU. And now the entire western world was going to have to listen to the talking heads and the Michigan fans spewing out their over the top banter about their team and their coach. Although we have been forced to listen to that part since he was hired.

MSU/Mich #2

But soon everyone had a look of disbelief on their face. When it seemed the game was over for MSU–Michigan ball, ten seconds left–something quite unbelievable, really, happened. On what should have been an ordinary play, Michigan State recovered a Michigan fumble and scored on the last play of the game. Everyone’s jaw dropped on both sides. Sometimes it seems that people bring things on themselves by their negativity. Perhaps this was one of those times. Now it’s seven out of eight years. Go Green Go White!
